The Connection Clubs

Open only to Fremont Chamber members. Six groups meet at a variety of days and times of the week to exchange leads and assist members in growing their businesses. Fremont Chamber’s Connection Clubs are so successful that they now serve as the model for similar “Leads-Generating” groups in Chambers all over the state.

Purpose: The Chamber’s Connection Club is a “business to business” referral program, designed to give maximum support and opportunity to Chamber members who understand the value of networking and doing business with people they know and trust. No duplications of business types are allowed. Each club may have only one representative of any given profession or specialty. Any questionable duplication will be determined by the Fremont Chamber.

A Club member may participate in no more than two Connection Clubs, but only as long as there is no other Chamber member in the same profession waiting for an opening to participate as a Connection Club member. You may have no more than 3 consecutive absences (verified by the Chair or Vice-Chair) or you will be dropped from the Connection Club membership. Each Connection Club member must pay an initial $55.00 membership fee and an annual renewal of $30.00 to maintain active membership status in the club. The $55.00 will cover membership for a member whether he/she belongs to one or two Connection Clubs. There is no sharing of Connection Club memberships between employees of same company. Fees are paid directly to the Chamber. Please call KK for any assistance, (510) 795-2244, ext. 101.

Each Connection Club member must sign a Disclaimer/Release form releasing the Chamber from any liability of claims resulting from business transactions directly resulting from referrals shared within the Clubs. Once the membership fee is paid to the Chamber, and the disclaimer/release form is signed; your Connection Club badge will be ordered. The membership fees are used to help cover the operating costs of the Connection Clubs, one annual Chamber mixer specifically to promote Connection Clubs. Special promotional articles and meeting information published monthly in the Fremont Business Review distributed to over 1,000 Chamber members. Connection Clubs that decide to offer lunch or events are expected to cover those costs themselves. To visit a Connection Club please call the Chair or Vice-Chair to reserve your space.
