Recovery Taskforce Reopening Toolkit We are in the midst of extraordinary times and the speed of which the Coronavirus has disrupted our daily lives and crippled the private sector is unprecedented. As we head towards opening our community and resume our business, we hear an enormous amount of information floating about with many mixed messages. Please know we are here to help you wade through the flood of information, connect you with the right resources and be a support system for you. As we prepare for our new “normal” we will continue to stand with you and assist you in adjusting to the future.
Beginning in May, we invited stakeholder representatives from various industries and civic groups to develop a roadmap toward Fremont’s recovery. To that end, this task force set its goals to develop a guidebook for businesses on how to reopen businesses in a post-COVID world. This guide has combined best practices from state and local resources covering a range of topics from social distancing to labor laws. It also includes information about economic resources available. Although overcoming this pandemic will take months, we will prevail. This guideline will be updated as new ways to combat Coronavirus are developed. I urge you to continue to check your weekly emails from the Chamber, watch for Chamber Facebook postings, and be on the lookout for webinar invitations. All these communications offer insight, resources, and valuable information. Be sure to join and post in the Chamber Facebook pages developed specially to assist restaurants, retail, and non-profits. Our sincerest wishes for your health and safety.
