2026 Leadership Fremont Graduation & Project

On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce held a graduation ceremony for the 2026 Leadership Fremont Cohort.

What is Leadership Fremont?

Leadership Fremont is a 9 month intensive training program designed to identify, nurture, and develop emerging community leaders. Leadership Fremont focuses on diversity, leadership potential, community commitment, and continuous learning. It develops leadership skills through individual skill building, hands-on activities, and presentations from public and private sector leaders. Leadership Fremont helps future leaders make informed decisions and lead effectively. The curriculum includes: Community Issues, Personal Leadership Skill Set, and Teamwork Project.

2026 Leadership Fremont Project

Calico House Project
Remodel both the client and staff bathrooms to make a more comfortable/healing space for the clients and team members of CALICO.
Goal: Raise $35,000 to fund two bathrooms being remodeled at the facility.
Any excess funds would go toward a deficit CALICO had with new camera software used to integrate police footage and interview footage.
The 2026 cohort raised over $50,000 for their project - well over their $35,000 goal!
