Women in Business Conference

Our inaugural Women in Business Conference - “Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Fearless.” - brought together a dynamic group of professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders on September 10, 2025, for a day of connection, inspiration, and growth. With over 100 attendees, the event created a vibrant space for women to share experiences, build relationships, and gain practical insights to support their personal and professional journeys.

Conference highlights included:

  • Our dynamic Keynote speaker, Hannah Kain, Founder and CEO of Alom, a leading Supply Chain solution company here in Fremont.
  • An engaging Fireside Chat, “Taking a Seat at the Table” with Dr. Rose-Margaret Ekeng-Itua, Professor of Engineering at Ohlone College.
  • A Program Panel discussion, “The Power of the Pivot,” where speakers shared candid stories of career transitions, challenges, and reinvention. Panel members: Amy Davis, owner of Banter Bookshop; Anu Natarajan, Urban Planner; Jasmine Basrai, CEO, Hallers’ Pharmacy; Chelsea Tatola, Fremont Police Officer and Entrepreneur.
  • The Connection Showcase, highlighting women-owned and women-led businesses.
  • Networking exercises throughout the day.

Beyond the sessions, the conference created a strong sense of community—encouraging attendees to be seen, be heard, and be fearless in pursuing their goals. The energy in the room reflected a shared commitment to supporting one another and strengthening the broader business community.
