Holidays at the Plaza
The 3rd annual Holidays at the Plaza will be held on Friday, December 4, 2026. This event brings the Fremont community together for a festive evening filled with food, fun, and holiday cheer. Families and friends can enjoy gourmet food trucks, seasonal treats, and a lively holiday market featuring local small business arts and craft owners – the perfect opportunity for last-minute gift shopping. The evening will include a festive tree lighting ceremony, live music, and a special guest appearance from the Grinch!

More Event Details
Location: Downtown Event Center, 3500 Capitol Avenue (at Capitol Ave. & State St.), Fremont.
Parking: Free street parking is available on Capitol Ave., Liberty St., and State St., plus the Fremont Family Resource Center lot.
Weather: We do our best to stay open, but the event may be canceled in severe rain. Updates will be posted on social media and emailed to followers.
Family & Pets: This is a family-friendly event. Well-behaved pets on leash are welcome.
Food & Drinks: A variety of food options will be available, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are offered. Last call for alcohol: 8:30 PM (last pour at 8:45 PM).
Payment: Most vendors accept credit cards, but bringing some cash is recommended.
Restrooms: Public restrooms are available at the Downtown Event Center.
Sustainability: Recycling, compost, and trash stations are available throughout the event.
