The Fremont Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Coalition brings local nonprofit leaders together to connect, collaborate, learn, and share resources.
By strengthening relationships among nonprofits, businesses, and community partners, the Coalition helps local organizations build capacity, address common challenges, and better serve our community.
Why a Nonprofit Coalition?
The Fremont Chamber surveyed more than 50 local nonprofit organizations and leaders to better understand their challenges, priorities, and needs.
The message was clear: nonprofits want more opportunities to connect, learn from one another, access resources, and build stronger relationships with the business community.
The Nonprofit Coalition was created to help make that happen.

Coalition Objectives
- Connect: Build relationships with nonprofit leaders, Chamber members, businesses, and community partners.
- Learn: Offer workshops, speakers, and access to local expertise on topics important to nonprofit organizations.
- Share: Exchange information about resources, funding opportunities, volunteers, events, services, and best practices.
- Collaborate: Identify shared challenges and create opportunities for nonprofits to work together.
- Strengthen: Help organizations develop stronger boards, leadership, fundraising, marketing, volunteer programs, and operations.
- Advocate: Raise awareness of issues affecting Fremont's nonprofit community and provide a collective voice when appropriate.
