LEAF Community Garden Grow Together Fundraising Event

On Saturday, September 12, the Fremont Chamber attended the Grow Together event in support of Local Ecology and Agriculture Fremont (LEAF). LEAF is raising funds for a brand-new compact tractor, which will make workdays at the farm more efficient while supporting the continued growth of LEAF programs.

The LEAF Community Garden event welcomed local community leaders, LEAF supporters, and partners.

LEAF is an educational nonprofit whose urban gardens serve as living classrooms, soil science labs, and community spaces that empower people to learn, connect, and grow together.

They do this by educating people about healthy soil and caring for the planet; growing and sharing healthy produce with people facing food insecurity; researching and advancing soil science; and connecting people to food, the land, and each other.
