Made in Fremont: Celebrating the Future of Advanced Manufacturing

On October 6, 2026, Innovate Bay brought together entrepreneurs, technology leaders, manufacturers, industry experts, and community partners in Fremont for “Made in Fremont: Built to Scale,” an official Manufacturing Week celebration highlighting Fremont’s position as a major center for advanced manufacturing and hardware innovation.

The event celebrated the companies and innovators transforming ideas into real-world products, from advanced robotics and clean energy to semiconductors and biotechnology. Through industry discussions and networking opportunities, attendees explored the opportunities and challenges of scaling hardware businesses, strengthening supply chains, and advancing AI-driven automation.

The gathering also emphasized the importance of collaboration among startups, established manufacturers, suppliers, investors, and civic leaders in building a stronger regional economy. Participating partners included Supermicro, San Francisco Bay University, the City of Fremont, and international delegates from South Korea’s Gyeongbuk Technopark.

By connecting the people and organizations driving technological progress, Made in Fremont underscored the city’s vital role in the Bay Area’s innovation ecosystem and its ability to turn groundbreaking ideas into products that serve markets around the world.

The event served as a reminder that Fremont’s manufacturing strength is built not only on its advanced facilities and technical expertise, but also on the partnerships, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit that continue to shape its economic future.
