Fremont Celebrates Halloween with Annual Trick-or-Treat Event at Downtown Event Center

The Fremont Downtown Event Center and Plaza came alive with Halloween spirit on Friday, October 23, 2026, as the City of Fremont and the Fremont Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Trick-or-Treat celebration. The family-friendly event brought the community together for an evening of costumes, candy, entertainment, and festive activities in the heart of Downtown Fremont.

Held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the celebration featured music, food trucks, community booths, carnival games, bounce houses, and a Halloween costume contest. One of the event's biggest attractions was the popular indoor trick-or-treating experience, where children ages 2 to 10 could explore miniature houses and collect Halloween treats. The special experience sold out in advance, reflecting the community's enthusiasm for this annual tradition.

The festivities also extended beyond the Downtown Event Center, with participating Downtown Fremont businesses joining in the Halloween fun and offering additional opportunities for families to explore the area.

The event highlighted the strong partnership between the City of Fremont and the Fremont Chamber of Commerce in creating memorable community experiences while encouraging residents to visit and support Downtown businesses.

A special thank-you goes to the organizers, participating businesses, community partners, volunteers, and families who helped make this year's Halloween celebration a memorable occasion. Events like these continue to strengthen community connections and showcase Downtown Fremont as a vibrant gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
