ASIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH VIRTUAL CELEBRATION On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and Comcast celebrated Asian and Pacific Islander American Heritage Month. Asian and Pacific Islander American Heritage Month was created to recognize the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. Hosted by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Comcast, we will be celebrating with a virtual celebration on Wednesday, May 27 at 1:30 PM. The United States Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Loans for Small Businesses and Nonprofits https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) offers low interest loans up to $2 million for small businesses, nonprofits of any size, small agricultural cooperatives, and small aquaculture enterprises. The interest rate is 3.75% for small businesses. The interest rate for private non-profit organizations is 2.75%. Loan repayment terms can last as long as 30 years. The deadline to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan is Dec. 16, 2020.
