As a Chamber of Commerce, we have a vested interest in the economic health of Fremont and the business community. Participation in the economic development is a top priority for our Chamber and as such, we work closely with the City of Fremont Economic Development.
Together, our organizations have worked to develop the mobile app Enjoy Fremont, a dining and lodging guide, hosted seminars and workshops to help Fremont businesses grow, and provided assistance to many businesses located in Fremont or seeking to locate in Fremont.
To further our economic development efforts, the Government Affairs Committee, under the direction of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, developed a comprehensive Economic Development Plan that addresses the important areas of advocacy/outreach, collaboration, education, business recruitment, workforce development, neighborhood revitalization, and marketing/advertising. This plan was approved and adopted by the Chamber Board of Directors on adopted June 2012.
