The Fremont Chamber of Commerce believes it is important to connect our members with government officials, industry experts and policy makers and we provide several ways for our members to do this. The Chamber organizes an annual “Access to Sacramento” trip. Typically held in May, Chamber members travel to Sacramento where the contingent spends the day with legislative leaders to discuss business issues.
The Chamber also hosts the annual State of the City, State of the State, and State of the County luncheons where our elected leaders present current developments and projected opportunities and challenges for the year ahead. These events are widely attended by community and business leaders eager to learn more about issues effecting business. Not only do these events impart critical information to attendees, but they are also excellent networking opportunities for business leaders.
Held periodically during the year, Public Policy Forums are events where key industry leaders and policy makers discuss issues of critical importance to the business community. The topics of these forums range from education, to health care to community housing. Public Policy Forums also provide networking opportunities for Chamber members.
Additionally, the chamber hosts industry roundtables where members within the same industry can discuss commons issues, share insights, and discuss policy initiatives and positions.
