The Program
A diverse group of individuals, representing all sectors of our community, build their personal leadership skills while increasing their understanding of the complex issues facing the region and how various governing bodies interact and affect solutions.
The course of study is presented during orientation and nine daylong sessions held monthly from September through May. A class project provides practical application of relevant skills and information covered during the sessions.
Tuition, Attendance, Financial Assistance
The $1,200 tuition ($1,700 for organizations that are not Chamber members) covers all program costs, including meals and materials. Full tuition must be received by the first session unless other arrangements are made in advance. Tuition is non-refundable.
Participants who do not attend at least seven of the nine sessions will be unable to receive a certificate of graduation.
Applicants who need financial assistance are encouraged to seek sponsorship, often available through local service clubs or other providers. A limited number of partial scholarships may be available through the Chamber.
