“Communication - the human connection - is the key to personal and career success.”
-Paul J. Meyer
I believe we could all agree that no truer words were ever spoken. Communication is the lifeblood of success. Over the years communication has evolved and many of the traditional, tried and true, avenues we once utilized have fallen by the wayside, replaced with newer, faster, and more efficient methods. That all sounds good, right? For the most part, yes, but the downfall is that we are all bombarded with messages flooding our cellphones, inboxes, and desktops. Without a doubt, it can be overwhelming. Nevertheless, many of these messages contain important information, information that could very well help pave the way to success. So how does the Chamber attempt to rise to the top of the message heap and effectively communicate useful information to our members?
In our Chamber, we believe that one of the best ways we can serve our membership is to communicate using as many avenues as possible, knowing that everyone does not respond to the same form of communication. Here’s how you can hear from us:

Phone Calls
Does it seem like the days where people actually used to call one another on the phone are long gone? While some may consider this “old school,” we believe it is essential to continue our personal contact with Chamber members. Regularly scheduled phone calls, to check in on our members and learn about what is new in their business or what challenges they may be facing, is an important part of how we communicate with members.
